Trash pick-up
1. The Department of Public Works provides WHOA trash service, which can be accessed by calling the Mayor's Action Hotline at (317) 327-4622.
2. A case number will be assigned to address any trash service removal issue, including scheduling (appliance removal) or extraordinary trash removal that would not be considered regular weekly trash service.
3. If you have a trash bin that needs replacing (for whatever reason) or because it has gone AWOL, you will need to call the IMPD non-emergency hotline and obtain a case number. Then, with that case number in hand, call the Mayor's Action hotline @ (317) 327-4622 to open a new ticket number after reporting to the DPW that a new trash bin is needed with the assistance of the Mayor's Action Hotline. A new case number will be assigned, and hopefully, a replacement trash bin replacement will arrive soon.
Thank you for keeping our community clean and free of debris and unpleasant odors.
